Process and verify vouchers for bank cash disbursements, including journal checklists, voucher cross-checking, and reconciliation with daily bank statements.
Prepare and post memorial journals into the General Ledger (GL), print journal listings, and handle corrections by updating entries in the GL.
Collect and organize purchase documents for fixed assets, classify and record asset additions to the appropriate accounts or cost accounts, and maintain an updated inventory list.
Assign registration numbers for fixed assets and record asset additions in the fixed asset register.
Review and process requests for write-offs of disposed goods, verifying the book value of related fixed assets.
Update asset locations in the fixed asset listing.
Receive and review checking accounts from the Finance department, and prepare bank reconciliation reports.
Verify remaining stock items, prepare stock-taking reports, and record damaged goods.
Monitor petty cash balances and prepare reconciliation reports for petty cash and stock opname.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar or relevant role.
Strong analytical and investigative mindset with keen attention to detail, persistence, adaptability, and resilience to stay focused on outcomes despite challenges.
Ability to work with large datasets, including data interpretation, structuring, and developing clear, quality reports to address business needs.
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
Proven project management and planning capabilities.
Proficiency in software applications, including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and presentation tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.
